Background Department, Industry Report

For my Professional Practice module we have to write an industry report focusing on a specific department in the industry we would like to work in.
I decided to focus my report on the 2D background department in animation.

I decided to email a few background artists from the industry and try receive feedback from these individuals, below is the questionnaire i sent.

What software do you mainly use for your backgrounds?

What was your favourite animated series to work on?

What kind of deadlines would you have for your backgrounds?

How much of a role does a degree play when applying for background animation jobs?
