This Daves original Animatic for the Peter Mcverry Trust group project. Daves video got chosen and myself and Jonah got put into Daves group

3 point perspective test

From the feedback i got from our major project animatic presentation, i was told to experiment with some 3 point perspective and other angle to really show depth to my work. I was also told to add some figures or props to make clear the sizes of the buildings and objects in comparison. This is a 3 point perspective test i did of a roof top city view, i added some small detail like a roof top pool and, stairs and a helicopter pad to try and show depth and size to my drawings.

Peter Mcverry Group Project

In the Peter Mcverry Trust project for my Professional Practice class we had a presentation to decide who was going to be in which group to make certain projects. I was put into Dave Cooney's group with himself as the director and Jonah Anderson. Daves original animatic was hands holding a cup begging for money and as the animatic goes on the cup morphs into a mug. In the group we decided to each go ahead and edit stuff on Daves original Animatic and then we would as a griup decide which bits we liked and didnt like and then we would add and change bits to the animatic. Below are a few photos of which i did some tests to Daves animatic in which i tested out different colours and textures, i also added fingernails and small other details to the hands.

Peter Mcverry Trust Style

This is the style of animation i would like to experiment between transitions and scenes in my animation. I think it would work really well with my idea for the Peter Mcverry Trust video

Composition video references

For my extended essay i am going to write about the importance of composition in film and television. I found a very interesting video on youtube where the author talks about composition in film and the effect it can have on a scene.
